The City of Novi, MI (est. population of 60,000+) is looking for a Mechanical Inspector to perform technical and specialized work involved in the inspection and plan review of mechanical (and plumbing if qualified) installations to ensure compliance with current regulations, ordinances, and codes. Review requests for permits in accordance with established standards. Perform related work as required.
Qualifications include: High school diploma or equivalent required. At least ten years of experience in the field is required. Must be able attain and maintain State of Michigan Mechanical Inspector and Plan Reviewer Credentials in accordance with the requirements of Act 407. Plumbing also preferred. Salary: $77,687.02 per year

Work Schedule:
  • 8:00am - 5:00pm, Monday - Friday.
Conditional Employment Requirements: All offers of employment are contingent upon passing a background investigation, a physical examination, and a drug screen (we test for marijuana).
