The Department of Licensing and Regulatory Affairs, Bureau of Construction Codes, will hold a public meeting on Thursday, December 12, 2024, at 9:00 a.m. at the Michigan Library & Historical Center, First Floor Forum, 702 W Kalamazoo St, Lansing, MI 48915.
The purpose of the meeting is to allow persons an opportunity to present data and comments on the general need to update the current Michigan residential code with the 2024 edition of the International Residential Code.
Comments may be presented in person at the public meeting on December 12, 2024. If your presentation at the public meeting is also available in written form, please provide a copy to the Rules Analyst at the conclusion of your comments. Individuals who are not present at the meeting may submit written testimony by mail or by electronic mail at the following addresses until December 12, 2024, at 5:00 p.m.
