MEMBERSHIP APPLICATIONS
There are three
types of membership in
Mechanical Inspectors Association of Michigan
Active, Contributing and Sustaining
The Mechanical Inspectors Association of
Michigan, MIAM, is a statewide organization which includes
membership of all inspectors, contractors, utilities and other individuals or
organizations who may be interested.
Active
A member
shall be a person employed as a mechanical inspector and registered as such
under Public Act #54.
Region Map
Contributing
A member
shall be an individual, company or corporation, which has an interest in the
activities of the association and can contribute on matters related to the
purpose of the association because of their technical of engineering experiences
in the heating, air conditioning or refrigeration industry.
Sustaining
A member
shall be a utility company involved in the distribution of natural gas or
electrical energy, or is an organized group or association involved in the
manufacturing, assembly, installation, design, engineering or supervision of
burners, heating equipment, air conditioning equipment, refrigeration equipment
and the appurtenances used for the production and transmittal or removal of
heat.

Metropolitan Mechanical Inspectors Association
Active and Associate
The Metropolitan Mechanical Inspectors Association, MMIA, is a regional organization (primarily southeastern Michigan known as Region 9) which includes membership of all inspectors, contractors, utilities and other individuals or organization who may be interested.
Active
A member shall be a person employed as a
mechanical inspector and registered as such under Public Act #54.
Associate
A member shall be an individual,
company or corporation which has an interest in the activities of the
association, who, due to vocation, desire to help promote the objectives of the
association.
